Constitution Day is celebrated every year on November 26 to commemorate the commencement of the constitution of India. This year our institution celebrated this significant day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The celebration began with a guest lecture on the topic, ‘The Constitution of India: The Soul of the Nation' by Fr Vinod Saldanha SJ. The speaker emphasized the importance of the constitution in the life of Indian citizens. He called upon all fellow citizens to respect the national constitution and the values it upholds namely, sovereignty, socialism, secularism, democracy, republic, justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. During the programme faculty members and students read the Preamble to the Constitution. A Poster-Making competition was organized by Mrs Monisha to encourage creativity and expression among students. The Constitution Day was successfully organized by Fr Santhosh D’Souza SJ. The event reinforced our commitement to uphold the values and principles of the Constitution.
