10th Standard Orientation Program

June 19, 2025

The Orientation Program for the 10th Standard students was conducted on 19th June 2025 with the objective of preparing students mentally, emotionally, and academically for the important year ahead. The program began on a spiritual note with the singing of a hymn, seeking God's blessings for a fruitful academic year. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom. The lamp was lit by students, dignitaries, and resource persons, marking the official commencement of the day's sessions. The first session of the day was conducted by Brother Princen Michael, who engaged the students in a wonderful and interactive session filled with activities. His dynamic approach not only captured the students' attention but also helped instill positive energy and motivation among them. The next session was led by Brother Ovin, who delivered an informative and thought-provoking session. His talk emphasized the importance of attitude, values, and consistency in academics, providing valuable insights to the students as they begin their board exam year. In the afternoon session, Father Lancy Fernandes addressed the students on a highly practical topic - how to prepare a timetable and effectively plan for the board examinations. His session was well-received as it gave students concrete strategies for managing their time and studies efficiently. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the resource persons, staff, and students for making the orientation a meaningful and enriching experience. The orientation provided a strong start for the students, equipping them with the tools and motivation needed to approach the academic year with confidence and clarity.
